WMH HOFFMAN Navy Jacket

Denim by WMH HOFFMAN, who supplied clothing to the US Navy Jacket. It has a simple design with a full zip front and three pockets on the chest and sides, but the two shoulders are Action pleats, elaborate detailing, and a CONE MILLS tag It is assumed to be from the 1950s.

Full zip front. Pockets on the chest and sides. Collar is slightly larger than normal. The fabric is all horizontal, including the sleeves.

Instead of the simplicity of the front, the rear is more elaborate, with action pleats on the shoulders as well as a slight squeeze on each side.

Light ounce 2×1 fabric. It has a strong slubby feel as well as a noticeable nepiness. Instead of a deep blue tint, there is almost no redness in this fabric. It appears to have a slightly darker hue.
