A flared model from Maverick, the Wrangler's sibling brand. The logo on the flasher and platinum patch suggests it is from the 1970s. It's made just like the Wrangler's except for the parts that contain the logo and the stitching on the back pocket.
flasher
Flasher with a window to see the patch. The illustration of the man is a representation of the era, and it says that the 14-plus ounce "MARVERICK 350 DENIM" was used. The patch is bluebell-marked, unlike those on Wranglers of the same period.
tag
The size notation is also written in centimeters. I've heard that Wranglers at the time were also actively expanding into Europe, but that may have had an effect on the situation.
inner tag
Printed tag attached to the back of the zipper. It has the same sizing and laundry information as the Wrangler.
back pocket
Almost square back pocket. Perhaps because it's a flared model with an emphasis on fashion, it doesn't come with rivets." The "M" stitching is heavily underneath.
outseam
The specifications are the same as the Wrangler, with double stitched fold-down stitching and single stitching at the hem.
