There are various models of Levi's flare type, but this is one of the representative model number "646". Orange Tab BIG E's. This is one of those orange tabs that shows the characteristics of the time, such as the omission of rivets and coin pockets and the use of light ounce fabric.
The real thing is a little more faded than it looks in the photo, and also has a very bright blue tint to it that stands out. It features a flare that extends from the knees.
The patch is not attached.
back pocket
It is vertical in shape. There is a distinct weave wound in the middle.
orange tab
BIG E's orange tabs. The letter "V" appears to be equal to "V", though it is blurred.
top button
There's a magnet reaction, and it's made of copper-plated iron. Parallel stitching across the front buttons.
zipper
Talon 42 has been used.

There is an engraving of "31A" though it is a little difficult to see.
coin pocket
The coin pocket is omitted and unriveted.
outseam
It is processed by the lock. The hem is single, but I'm not sure if it's original or not, as it was purchased at Eusted.
back pocket (back)
Despite being a BIG E, the back pocket has a chain stitching on the back.
fabric
I use a light ounce of it. It's hard to tell from the photo, but this fabric has a relatively noticeable vertical drop.
