Straight jeans from Buckaroo, a western line of workwear brand BIG SMITH. The age is difficult to pinpoint, but the use of Talon 42 for the zippers and 14.25 ounce denim, which is heavy ounce for vintage, suggest it was made in the late 1960s-70s, and features hip pocket stitching representing a horseshoe, also seen on the BIG SMITH Buckaroo denim jacket.
flasher
This cowboy illustrated flasher touts the use of sturdy denim at just over 14 1/4 ounces. Interestingly, "COARSE WEAVE DENIM" is written on it, but I don't know what kind of selling point it was at that time.
tag
A paper tag with size and other information written on it. On the bottom it says "3.59" and on the top it says "4.99" in handwriting, but I wonder if this is the price.
tag
The tag is not an inner tag, but rather a patch on a pair of Levi's or Lee's jeans. If it was the 1960s and 1970s, there would be a lot of printed tags, but these are embroidered tags.
top button (back)
The waist belt is folded back and fastened behind the buttons. The back of the button is engraved with "L".
outseam
This is a side split stitch on a white thread sewn with a lock sewing machine The hem is a single stitch in black thread.
