Launched in 2015 with the "Made in U.S.A." tagline, the 501 has a vintage-like feel to it, and is not much different from the Long Day in terms of specifications. Like the Long Day, the fabric is made from Corn Mills' white oak mill.
The flasher is the same one as the regular 501, and there is no difference from the regular one at a glance.
