Launched in 2015 with the "Made in U.S.A." tagline, the 501 has a vintage-like feel to it, and is not much different from the Long Day in terms of specifications. Like the Long Day, the fabric is made from Corn Mills' white oak mill.
The flasher is the same one as the regular 501, and there is no difference from the regular one at a glance.
A tag with the size and part number indicated." There seems to be no special reason for the use of "Made in U.S.A.".
A tag on the waistbelt, a testament to the use of white oak mill fabric, strongly asserts that the fabric is also made in the USA.
It has the same galvanized iron buttons as the Long day, with V-stitching across the buttons.
With selvedge, slightly thicker width and flanked by dividers. Chain stitching at the hem.
